In the tour, we will visit the beautiful largest pagoda in Da Nang – Linh Ung pagoda which has the 67 – meter – high statue of the Lady Buddha. Linh Ung pagoda is situated on Son Tra peninsula which is about 10 kilometers to the North – east from Danang city center, almost covered by the sea, on the height of 693 meters altitude compared to sea level. This place is just like “the precious pearl” of the city, because of its mountain, its beautiful long, winding coastline and the forest with a variety of flora and fauna system. From Linh Ung pagoda, you can have a great view of Da Nang city and Da Nang beach.
Leaving Linh Ung pagoda, we will cross one of the gorgeous bridges with modern architectures and designs of Da Nang and have time to contemplate the beauty of other bridges like the Dragon bridge, the Thuan Phuoc bridge, the Tran Thi Ly bridge or the Han River Bridge along with beautiful main streets of Da Nang.
Next, Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture is a must if you are interested in history and architecture. Located in the center of the city, this museum houses the world largest collection of Cham sculpture. There are more than 300 pieces on display including altars, lingas, garudas, apsaras, Ganeshas and images of Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu which are collected from Hindu and Buddhist temples and towers – all dating from the 5th to 15th centuries taken from many sites in Central Vietnam… Visiting the museum, it seems like you come back to the glorious time of the past of a nation that is full of mysteries. The mysterious world of gods, the pictorial legends, the religious symbols, the charm of dancing girl statues,… appearing lively and clearly in this museum will interest you a lot.
Besides, we will visit a local market which can give you more knowledge about the life of the local people as well as some local stuffs that you may not have in your countries.
